Holiday Season: Stay fit! how? heres how!

Ok guys sorry ngayon lang ako nag-post. Ive been Very busy these past few weeks doing our thesis. Anyways ! this holiday season its a time to relax,enjoy,shop, and eat and also to stay fit and healthy, the question is how? with all these yummy/delicious foods around us how can we say no? and here in the philippines classes resume usually in January 5,6 etc. So if you ignore to stay fit/healthy and only doing the so called "eat till you drop thing" you'll end up in bad shape. Here are some tips on how to stay-fit/healthy.

1. Eat foods with Omega-3 ( It stimulated blood flow and circulation. you can avoid stroke and heart attacks, reduces levels of bad cholesterol)less bad cholesterol less fat where to find omega-3: fish/salmon/sardines/tuna/flax seeds

2. Monitor your weight ( having an idea of your weight will help to motivate you in some way i dont know)

3. limit the amount of red meat that you eat, always go for the lean cuts,, for chicken always remove the skin,, because its the source of bad cholesterol, add fish in your diet

4.drink alcoholic/beer moderately. you can drink beer and wine once a day, excessive drinking is still inadvisable. too much alcohol increases your caloric intake that can lead to obesity.

5. Do cardiovascular exercise! it is type of exercise that works out your heart and lungs.. the faster the heart rate the faster your fats burn!! what kind of exercise?: brisk walking, running or jogging,biking,aerobics,rowing,swimming to name a few.

6. GO to the gym burn some calories!

Seven years later, Piccolo acts as a trainer to Son Goten, Goku's second son and Trunks ,Vegeta's son, and their fused form Gotenks. Piccolo trains the boys in fighting the evil creature Majiin Buu and he later gives his energy to Goku's Super Spirit Bomb, which Goku uses to defeat Buu once and for all.

In Dragon Ball GT he is severely injured by Gohan while he was possessed by Baby and later dies with Earth in order to destroy the Black Star Dragon Balls. He goes to Heaven but then requests he is sent to Hell in order to free Goku when he is imprisoned there. He can be seen putting Hell in order and protecting the rulers there. In the final episode, Goku stops in Hell to see Piccolo. He tells Piccolo that he will be leaving and that they are glad they met and teamed up. He also says that he has become a good friend and he will get out of Hell someday. They shake hands and Goku leaves while Piccolo stays behind.

Six Pack Abs?? Possible! how?

Abs. We all have abs you know why you can't see them? because its under your flab. losing belly flab is a boring process. You need time, hard work and dedication. Do this every single day and hello six pack abs!. So here it is.

1. Eat Breakfast everyday - Guys who skip breakfast are 4 times to have big bellies, keep your meal size in within reason. 500colloris will do.

2. Increase Water intake - Water speeds up metabolism: guzzle at least a gallon of water.

3. be dedicated keep in mind of the six pack and stick to your goal

4. Have lunch 500-600 calorie. include fiber in your diet (a bottle of pine apple juice will do)

5. Exercise! do crunches/situps. go to the gym and burn some calories. Weight-lifting is more
effective than running/jogging. (dont spend to much time in doing situps, the important things is to burn your calories, you got to sweat a lot)

6. Sleep early - nights of poor sleep may cause your muscle cells to become resistant to the hormone insulin. Over time, this leads to fat storage around your belly.

7. Dont eat at night time- you can eat fiber foods like apple/pine apple etc.

8. READ Health Magazines, (Men's Health Magazine)

Yup guys, its proven according to Men's Health Magazine November 2008 issue You can get rid/lessen your hypertension by swallowing a low-dose aspirin before bed and you'll wake with a lower blood pressure. Now whats the physiology about that??.. hmm??

Transformations: Super Saiyan 1 , Super Saiyan 2 (Gotenks Form), Super Saiyan 3 (Gotenks Form)

Origin: Goten is the second and final child of Son Goku, the series' protagonist. First introduced in the 230 chapter of the manga, Goten is similar in appearance to his father, with the same hair style as his father and similar clothing. In chapter 324, Toriyama changes his appearance to avoid confusion with Goku to include a shirt bearing his name, and a longer, shaggier hairstyle. Goten is trained by his older brother Son Gohan in preparation for the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, which their father would be attending. During the training, Gohan discovered Goten could become a Super Saiyan.

At the age of eight, Trunks would participate in 25th Tenkaichi Budokai and defeat Son Goten in junior division. Eager to compete in the adult division, he along with Goten would pose as the fighter Mighty Mask and be pitted against #18 in a battle royal. But unfortunately they would be disqualified for being two people. Upon the arrival of Majin Buu in chapter 460 and episode 231, Trunks was forced to train with Goten in the "Room of Spirit and Time" to become the super warrior Gotenks. Gotenks would fight Buu first in the time dimension, then in the real world until the thirty minute fusion time limit expired. Through Buu's treachery they, along with Piccolo, would be absorbed by Buu thus increasing his power. Once freed, he along with Goten, Gohan, and Piccolo would be killed when Kid Buu destroyed the Earth. After resurrected, Trunks would help to rally the people on Earth to contribute to Goku's Super Genki Dama to defeat Buu. At the end of the manga and Dragon Ball Z Trunks, now all grown up, would participate in the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai against the fighter Otokosuki in Chapters 518-519 and episodes 289-290.
By the GT series, a 28 year old Trunks would accompany Goku and Pan into space to recover the Black Star Dragon Balls. Within episodes 2-15, They would have many strange encounters and meet many unusual characters including the robot named Giru who would act as the gang's Dragon Radar. Upon arriving on Giru's home world the Machine Planet M2 in episode 16, the trio would be hijacked by Dr. Myu's robots and Trunks would be solidified in living metal (A reference to Han Solo's encasement carbonite in the Return of the Jedi) for study. Ironically, the contents of the plate was not really Trunks, but cleverly made decoy by both Trunks and Giru. Trunks would use the opportunity to uncover Dr. Myu's plan, which was to awaken Baby, and sabotage the process. Unfortunately Trunks' plan failed as Baby had managed to escape to Earth, When they returned home Baby had managed to possess Vegeta becoming "Baby Vegeta" and brainwash everyone else. Shortly after arriving, Trunks would also fall victim to Baby's mind control and battle Goku. He along with everyone else would be freed on new planet Plant. By episode 41 Trunks had managed to become the CEO of Capsule Corporation. But he would not take the job seriously. During the Super 17 saga, he along with Goten would travel the globe fighting the villains that escaped from Hell. He would help battle Omega Shenron and help power-up Goku's Super Saiyan 4 form.

Gotenks is the result of the Fusion Dance when performed by Son Goten and Trunks. Expanding on the negative aspects of the two characters he's comprised of, Gotenks is arrogant and easily distracted. At the start of his appearance, Gotenks is rebellious, however, he later learns to follow the advice of his mentor Piccolo. During his training, he reveals the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan 3, where he nearly defeats the villain Majin Buu. The immense chi required for Super Saiyan 3 limits the time that Gotenks can stay fused, and he is later absorbed by Buu.

Why Humans Hate Vegetables!

I've seen a lot of pinoys in fastfood restaurants who refuse to eat veggies,they'll remove lettuce leaves from burgers and capers from pizzas.
ANd friends find me wierd eating fresh salads,ano ba yan parang kabayo ka ang hilig mo sa damo,are some of the remarks that I usually recieved from them.
But veggies are such a rich source of antioxidants and fiber that eliminating them from the diet is a recipe for bad health.
Most pinoys love to indulged in saturated fat dishes like pork and beef,and this compounds the problem.Diet has a great impact on health.
Kadalasan kasi mapait ang veggies sa panlasa ng majority a better alternative is to mix them in stew or soup, or stir fry them.
I really can't understand those people in fast foods who remove veggies from their sandwhiches is it ignorance or kaartehan lang. I would like to add that Vegetables are really good food, its how people prepare them... they can be really delicious without sacrificing the nutrients... It also starts in the family... kids taught to eat vegetables while small will always crave for vegetables until they grow up... marami narin kasing fast food chains, na wala din namang masyadong nutrition... the youth today yun na ang kinakain palagi... buti pa ang Goat.. haha

pero for me I love veggies!

Yo Guys!!!,heres my list of healthy restaurants/fastfood options i discovered. it might help You guys find better places to go to when eating out.

if you're stuck in the food court of SM Southmall in Las Pinas:

- Tuna Hut, serving grilled tuna belly, tuna burgers, nuggets, and other tuna based snacks. I always go for the tuna belly here when I have to dine in the fastfood area.

- Of course there's Bodhi if you avoid meat.

- For dessert, there's a coconut place, selling fresh fruit salad in coconut.

Pero for syempre.. think about your budget.. the smaller the better, mahirap na pagtumaba ka.
any food will do eat whatever you want when eating out wag lang lagi. kase eventually you'll give in rin hehehe so better eat whatever you want life is too short to restrict yourself into diets., everything should be just in moderation..

The Romantics! 1980's New Wave Music Mania!

What follows is the story of a bunch of hard working street kids from the East side of Detroit who became one of the most influential and memorable bands emanating from one of music's most important periods.... Formed on Valentine's Day, 1977, Wally Palmar, Jimmy Marinos, Mike Skill and Rich Cole --- were tough kids escaping hard work, probably in machine shops or factories, but they weren't punks. They were a response to the nihilism of the U.K. punks.

And The Romantics were simple; the best of their music was a joyful affirmation, epitomized by the chanted "Hey!...uh-huh!" intro to the remarkable "That's What I Like About You," a song that still exists precisely in the moment, without before or after.

While it is true that they took much of their simple thunder from the British Invasion, the band's primary influence was the high energy excitement of the late 60s Detroit scene. The MC5, the Stooges, Bob Seger and The Last Heard, The Detroit Wheels, The Rationals, SRC, The Underdogs, The Up. . . The Romantics took the essence of this scene -- sincerity, irony, spontaneity, volume -- and translated it to suit their own modern experience. Their image was innate; they naturally favored short hair and shorter songs and happened on the infamous red leather suits by chance.

After releasing a single, consisting of the first two songs they had written - ''Little White Lies" and "I Can't Tell You Anything" -- The Romantics traveled east to build a club audience. Bomp Records' Greg Shaw sees them in Toronto and funds an EP. The EP includes "Tell It To Carrie," something of a stylistic matrix for The Romantics' music to come.

The late 70s U.K. punk movement is diluted and misunderstood in America, and The Romantics are, like it or not, labeled "New Wave, " a term for the more palatable selling of punk. The Romantics consider themselves well removed from the Sex Pistols' negativity. They don't want rock to go away; they want, as Skill tells a reporter in 1979: "to still have fun with three chords.

After signing with Nemperor Records in 1979, The Romantics released their debut LP, recorded in three weeks. Anchored by "That's What I Like About You," "When I Look In Your Eyes" and a cover of Ray Davies' "She's Got Everything," The album is an exemplary pop-rock period piece. The Romantics evoke a youthful portrait, haunting in its innocence, a direct contrast to the tough world they know in Detroit.

A follow-up, National Breakout, was released in 1980, followed by tours of Europe and Australia. More influences -- surf music, Motown -- were evidenced, yet the sound was increasingly unique. "Tomboy," "21 and Over" and "Stone Pony" lived up to the post-punk battle cry of "Two minutes or bust." The Bomp material was included on a compilation titled Midwest Pop Explosion (Quark 1980), but by the time of 1981's Strictly Personal, lead guitarist Skill departs and is replaced by guitarist Coz Canler, only to return one album later, replacing Rich Cole.

The band reaches its commercial peak in 1983-1984 with In Heat, a platinum album bearing two top ten singles: "Talking In Your Sleep" and "One In A Million." This should have been the big payoff, but drummer Marinos departs instead as "success" creates division and confrontation between management and the band.

The Romantics, with Dave Petratos on drums, released Rhythm Romance in 1985. Other than the 1990 greatest hits compilation, "What I Like About You" (and Other Romantic Hits), Rhythm Romance is the last record The Romantics cut for Epic/Nemperor.

In 1987, The Romantics endure an inordinate amount of adversity. The acrimonious fall-out and lawsuit with their former managers slowed royalty payments and prevented the band from focusing on recording and touring. In late 1990, the Romantics added current Blondie drummer Clem Burke to the lineup, and in 1994 they released a 5 song EP titled Made In Detroit for Westbound Records, containing fellow Detroiter George Clintons' Funkadelic songs along with three originals. Later that year, The Romantics received an award for Outstanding Pop/Rock Recording Artists from the Motor City Music Awards.

In 1992, when Clem had other obligations, The Romantics enlisted legendary Detroit Wheels drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek to perform with them at Rob Tyner's (MC5) Memorial Service.

1995 saw The Romantics settle their 7 year old lawsuit against their former management and regained control of their publishing rights and music catalog. In 1996 Jimmy Marinos, the original drummer, rejoined the Romantics to tour and work on recording projects until leaving the group in 1997. The Romantics were presented with the Distinguished Achievement Award at the Detroit Music Awards in 1999.

The next several years were spent recording and finishing songs for their next album, "61/49". Released in the fall of 2003 and named for the storied crossroads near Clarksdale, Mississippi where bluesman Robert Johnson made his pact with the devil, "61/49" is intended as a tip of the hat to the roots of rock 'n' roll and the nucleus of The Romantics' fervent pop. The album features members Wally Palmar, Mike Skill, Coz Canler and drummer Clem Burke (a founding member of Blondie). They were joined by their original drummer, Jimmy Marinos, as well as drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek with a supporting cast that included keyboardists Eddie Hawrysch (Black Crowes) and Luis Resto, among others.

In 2004, due to touring commitments with Blondie, Clem Burke recommended the addition of Brad Elvis. Regaled by both critics and fellow drummers for his precision beat-keeping and showmanship, Elvis is best known as a member of the Elvis Brothers and Big Hello.

Currently, Palmar, Skill, Canler, and Elvis are touring and writing songs for a follow-up to "61/49".

Anong gagawin mo? what will you choose?

Some questions you should ask yourself:

1. If i stick to what I am doing now, would it benefit me in the future?
2. The opportunity that lies ahead, even if its not what I really like, can I learn to love it?
3. Which would offer me better balance and compensation?
4. What matters more to me: earning a lot but its not exactly what I like doing or doing what I like, as long as the pay gets me by

If you choose money, for how long will you be able to stand the job?
If you choose career, will I still be happy if you'll end up financially challenged?

Hirap pumili noh.. pero for me.. ill pick CAREER bcoz When you excel in what you do, the big bucks follow....You may opt for the money now, but you'll end up miserable if you ain't passionate with your job.

At the end of the day, money shouldn't be the driving factor in choosing jobs. I'd rather do something that I want to do. It might earn me a little but in the long run, I can use that experience to further improve my craft and make a living out of that

A good conversation is the best way to impress a women, (for me) because in this stage you'll get to know each other, exchange of ideas. So can we talk about anything under the sun? Women want you to talk to them like you'd talk to your female family members, preferably a younger sister. If you have a younger sister, now you know why she looks up to you...because you are not afraid to give her orders and not back down when she fights with you. A real man stands his ground with his decisions...unless, of course, the decision is not the best one or you are unsure. In cases of uncertainty you can be flexible. If you ask her to go see a movie, you pick the movie...don't even give her a choice. If she goes along and has a good time with the movie you pick, you know you have a keeper. Taking a Shower ( Pag Puyat/ Without Sleep)

is it true what they say??, that we shouldn't take a bath when we're puyat... especially if you went through a whole night without any sleep? supposedly can cause fever..

well, if it is true, I should've been sick over and over again. lagi ko kasing ginagawa yan every time i go home from School. (College Days)

for me pag puyat ka, a Hot bath would be better, why?? because It helps tired and aching musles and helps relax you before going to sleep. (A good thing for working guys na-nag overtime.)

and one thing, if you are tired and you take a bath it would be bad for your eyes..
i have a friend back-then when i was in highschool he would read thick books before we go to class

he got a toll in the eye, and the eye doctor prescribe him glasses.. 425 grado nya.. ouch..

So, Try to avoid some water hitting on your eyes if your tired..

Maintain body weight within an ideal range.-not a problem for most of teens nowadays like me, kasi nanjan ang gym and nasa we are in a age of Sport activities like basketball, tennis and etc

Use airbags, seatbelts, and child safety seats in automobiles.

Wear protective helmets when engaging in contact sports, horseback riding, or riding bicycles

eat lycopene , That also means pizza is a good source of lycopene. Its good to eat once a month.

How do you deal with moody persons? We all know nowadays being moody is common in people. because of intense heat,stress and many other factors.
You got any friends? bestfriends? or anyone you know na moody? how do you deal with their tantrums. i have few friends and few groupmates that are moody, basically alam na namin gagawin sa isat isa pag me toyo na ang isa.

Guys lets face it, Being handsome is an edge for all of us MALES. In Work,School,Game, and etc.
Pero ano ba concept ng gwapo?it's too subjective kasi. But if you guys notice, most of the people nowadays are prioritizing yung may mga itsura. ( the people who have the looks) The Handsome/Cute guys get almost all the attention, lalo na pag matalino pa yung guy.

1. Handsome(guwapo)- ung artistahin, mestiso, leading man (our colonial mentality nga naman)

Yah Stress! One of the risk factors of almost any kind of sickness and etc, affecting you physically,mentally,emotionally and socially. When you are experiencing stress it affects your performance in any aspect of you life.. SO? how do you know that you are stress? according to my "Medical Surgical book" the symptoms are

Sweating, tingling, rapid or shallow breathing, racing pulse, tension, or general anxiety in response to some change -- negative or positive -- in the environment.
Physical illness or pain that develops in response to these changes.

All of us earthlings can be a victim of stress, We cannot avoid stress, But we can manage it, depends on how you handle your stress.

SO? what do you do to relieve from stress? hmm?..

1. By meditating for about 10min. a day it really helps
breath slow and deep then count it 10 times then repeat it again

2.Try to handle situations that causes stress in other words you have to identify cases that makes your self more stressful

3.Avoid hassles. Identify the things that stress you out and eliminate them or prepare yourself to cope with them. Take a day off, that's what weekends are for.

4.take a warm shower (loosens up my stiff shoulder and neck muscles, which usually comes with my stress)

5.go to the spa and have a massage (if on a tight budget, get your gf ^_^ comes in handy, hehe)

6.Sleep at least 8hrs at night (Its important to sleep at least 8hrs at night coz our immune system works overtime when we sleep)
anyways sleep depends if you have a GOOD sleep, even if its just 4hrs then you are all set. but if you have BAD sleep, even if its 8 or 9hrs, it sucks.

7. 8hrs sleep
Emotional Stability ( Stay Positive)
regular exercise
Diet consume at least 15 varieties of fruits & vegetables.(This will help a lot not just for stress but also to prevent some dreaded disease.)

2. if being a jeepney driver sucks, what more if you're the conductor!!!! nakasabit and giving the change ( sa bus) sometimes nasa luob sila. but that is so exhausting.

3. Working in a Call Center for me is a Worst Job, very unhealthy environment.
I could not imagine myself sitting for 8 hours talking to people on the phone.

4. i think being an nba superstar like kobe bryant sucks? yep u have the fame, fortune and money, but i cant imagine having all the pressures, stress, criticisms, and expectations etc...

sperm lives within 72 hours and you had sex a day or two after her period, but those sperms will be dead because of the acid in the vagina. about the mentsrual cycle don't rely much on the cycle cause there is still a chance that a female could still get pregnant on the "safe" days. And that won't do if the girl has an irregular cycle. Like, if the girl would have some expected or unexpected hormonal imbalance (due to genetics, undergoing medication, etc), and would sometimes experience some delay on her cycle or miss her period every other month or something like that.

Maybe a strong heart is needed for a relationsip to stay among the married ones or those who are deep into a relationship. But I guess kung GF pa lang, sometimes it's really hard because the very reason for the relatiosnhip is companionship. If you get married, it's raising a family. If you are building a relationship with distance as an initial barrier, I guess, it will not work for some reason, it really depends on how both of you will handle it. I believe that any good, long and lasting relationship should be based on a very strong foundation.. called friendship ALSO very important is TRUST!!!mahirap ang long distance relationship....kung wala kang tiwala sa partner dun na lalabas mga problem...selos, etc....simula na ng away then break up...

Funimation changed almost every single line and that makes dbz confusing. when goku was a baby goku he was evil, he got hit in the head real hard and that made his personality change dramatically. Its all about a asian proveb called ying-yang(good-evil), or the law of physics, for every action there is a reaction. In the cell saga, Goku told his friends that he didnt want to be rezzed cuz bulma suggested him that it was because of him that all enemies came to earth. In the bu saga, he coulve killed fat buu. When Piccoro asked him why not kill Majin-boo as SSJ3. He said he wanted to let humans do this, if he does another enemy will appear and he also said : "its not fair because im dead". Right after he killed buu, he sat on a rock and was thinking about it and he decided to stay in earth. He thought that no more enemies will appear, because all the enemies the universe and him know have died(frieza,buu,cell,etc). But in GT he realized that no matter of he destroys em all, more will come and will at some point leave unreparable dmg. Now u might think that there is still good people on earth like Gohan, but he is not like goku, gohan has a litle evil (he wanted make Cell to suffer). Goku always shows mercy, hes been critizied for it, even when Frieza killed Krillin. He apologized to buu for killing him. He is too powerfull and extremely good to exist. Btw, he is not highly gifted, hes just a low class saiyan with the will of getting stronger. The message of Akira Toriyama was that it was all about personality. Anyone can surpass a highly gifted if one really wants it. Goku said that like 3 times, idk about funimation. Goku translated to english means "empty".

Orange Range is a Japanese hip-hop and rock band hailing from Okinawa. They started when childhood friends, Kitao "Kat-chan" Kazuhito (former drummer) and Hiroyama Naoto (guitarist) got together and decided to form a band. They then recruited Miyamori Yoh (bassist), Hokama Hiroki (mid vox), Yoh's brother, Ryo (low vox) and Ganeko Yamato (high vox).
In 2002, they signed under Spice Music and released their first mini-album, Orange Ball, which carries their single, Michishirube. In 2003, they signed under Sony Music and released two singles, Kirikirimai and Shanghai Honey, in which the later debuted in #5 in the Oricon charts. After that, they gained even more fame when their next single, Viva Rock, was featured as the third ending theme song for the hit anime Naruto. Later in that same year, they released their first major album, 1st Contact. The recent sex education controversy involving the Catholic Church’s and other religous groups insistence on discontinuing the implementation of DepEd’s Lesson Guides on Adolescent Reproductive Health in the High School Curriculum only proved what little concern, let alone respect they have, for the nation’s youth to be well-informed about their reproductive health and rights. The Church would rather keep students ignorant about the topic of sex, and if they were to venture into uncharted territory and make mistakes, they would pay for it dearly. The Church also decided to pass the buck onto the parents when it comes to educating their children about sex. Not only is that easier said than done, it assumes that all parents are flawless experts on the matter. As it is, “the birds and the bees” is of the most awkward topics to broach during a child’s coming-of-age, not just for the tween/teen but for mommy and daddy as well.While people, even parents, may have made mistakes in the past and learned from them, it’s never too late for young people, if given the proper access to information through education or sheer resourcefulness, to be in-the-know about sex (for making babies) and other related issues – premarital sex, safe sex and contraception, teen pregnancy, rape/molestation, incest, abortion, child prostitution and trafficking, pornography, sexually transmitted diseases, population etc. Such smarts could either prevent many situations that they may not be physically or emotionally prepared to deal with, or help them confront and cope with unfortunate incidents. Origin: Toriyama's Goku finds his origins in one of Toriyama's earlier characters named Tanton, a fictional protagonist who appears in a one-shot series called Dragon Boy. In this story, Tanton's odd physical characteristic was bat wings. When Toriyama decided to create Dragon Ball, he used author Wu Chengs Journey to the West as inspiration for his own series. Toriyama's main character had the same name of the monkey king,Sun Wokong , a central character in Journey to the West; the only alteration being that it was changed to the Japanese variant of the name, "Son Goku".

To be creative with the character, Toriyama stated that he designed Goku not as a monkey like the character Sun Wukong, but as a human-looking boy with a monkey tail. Toriyama later developed the story to where Goku is an extraterrestrial called Saiyan from a fictional planet named "Vegeta".

My thoughts about having sexual relationship with your co-workers

For me, I believe in the rule "You dont shit where you eat", meaning no dating with co-workers. Eventhough I havent experienced dating co-workers(because im a nursing student), and I do have an eye on some of em, I still think that fouling your on nest isnt a good idea in keeping a professional relationship with your corporate female assistant/subordinate/superior, no matter how hot they are. But if you have love at first sight well, its ok for you to do the shit. ^_^

anyways it has some good and bad side so here they are

Lets start on the GOOD, you can make sure that the lady your dating is a professional and well-educated. You may also say that you share some interests in common since you are working for the same company. Especially if you belong to the same department, both of you could be engineers, CPAs, lawyers, etc. thus you share a common ground, your interests may be the same. You can also make adequate background checks as you can make a lot of inquiries with her friends and officemates. Plus you can also have an idea of her salary range and her financial capacity. In case your relationship prospers, you can see her everyday (which can be good or bad, depending on how you treat it).

As for the BAD, there would only be an issue when you break up with your girl and there would be a lot of ackward moments when you bump with each other in the office. You may also have a hard time getting over her since you would see her regularly. And if another co-worker would take your place, you would know how fast you were replaced. Also in the unlikely event of corporate dissolution, you'd find yourselves together in the unemployment line, looking for a new job. With regard to bonuses and incentives, you cannot hide anything from your girl... She would know when you would receive your 13th month, 14th month and other perks and financial privileges.

But on the over-all I think there is nothing wrong with going out with an officemate. So long as you really like the girl and your intentions are directed to have a serious relationship that is on a long-term basis. And make sure that the company allows it.

Dragon Ball Z Super Android 13 (Extreme Battle Three Great Super Sai-jin)

Start of the movie Dr. Gero is attacked by Androids 17 and 18; against his own wishes, he has resorted to activating them in an attempt to kill Son Goku and his friends. Unfortunately, they are more powerful and aware than he had anticipated, and turn against their master. #17 decapitates Dr. Gero, and crushes his head. Elsewhere in his laboratory, we see Dr. Gero's blood dripping down into a room with a computer still working hard, hooked up to three more giant capsules large enough to hold a person inside. The numbers on them read out 13, 14, and 15.
Goku and his friends are in the city, all enjoying different aspects of the day out (beauty contest, shopping, eating, the works). Two strange looking beings (a short purple-skinned one with a hat and a large blue-skinned one with a pony tail), both wearing Red Ribbon Army symbols, approach the mall where everyone's eating, and begin blowing things up. They zone in on Goku, and the fight begins.
Goku quickly realizes that they are both Androids, as he can sense no Ki from them. At first, Goku battles them both, with Trunks joining in shortly. Gohan insists that he also leave to fight (much to Chi-Chi's delight, of course). Kuririn thinks that the fight is far above his own capabilities, but Chi-Chi thinks differently. Kuririn wonders if he'll ever get married...
The fight continues, and soon a third being shows up. This one is very humanoid looking, and even has a cheesy baseball cap (with the Red Ribbon emblem, of course). During the fight, Vegeta makes a surprise entrance, as does Piccolo. Each of the three Saiyans takes on an Artificial Human, and appears to be beaten up badly. All three turn themselves into Super Saiyans, much to Kuririn's and Gohan's delight, as the tables seem to turn on the Artificial Humans.
#14 and #15 are destroyed by Trunks and Vegeta. #13 is surprised, but still has a trick up his sleeve. The remaining chips from the two defeated Artificial Humans float up into #13, and he absorbs them, beginning his transformation into a giant, blue, pupil-less monster. Everyone is thrashed by this "Super 13," and Goku is eventually tossed into the ocean. Despite being nearly killed, Goku raises his arms into the air (although he's upside down!), and asks for everyone to contribute their energy. Goku slowly rises up from the ocean, and a Genki-Dama gradually forms in the air above him. Super 13 repeatedly attempts to defeat Goku, but is repelled each time by Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo. As Piccolo is crushed under the weight of Super 13's foot, he yells out for Goku to show him the true power of a Super Saiyan. Goku indeed turns into a Super Saiyan, but Kuririn remarks that it will be impossible for Goku to use the Genki-Dama with a heart full of anger and hatred (which is necessary in order to turn into a Super Saiyan).
In a shocking (and highly illogical) move, Goku begins to absorb the energy from the Genki-Dama AS a Super Saiyan. Blue energy surrounds both him and Super 13, destroying the ground around them. Super 13 tries (and fails) to punch Goku, who (with a blood-curdling scream) punches directly through Super 13, and tosses him up into the surrounding energy.
Gohan wakes up to see his father sitting above him on a rock, saying, "Yo!"
Back at the hospital (where everyone was apparently brought), Kuririn offers up an explanation as to what probably happened with the Genki-Dama, while Goku laughs and says he has no idea. Gohan asks where Piccolo and Vegeta are; the scene cuts to the both of them, sitting silently and facing away from each other on opposite sides of an ice floe, out in the middle of the ocean. A fish jumps out of the water, and the ending credits begin!

After starting off as either a young girl or boy recently transplanted to a new town, you quickly ditch your homemaker mother to follow in the footsteps of your dad, who is already a celebrated Pokémon master. After being gifted your first Pokémon by local man-of-science Professor Birch, you'll head into the world to fight and capture wild Pokémon, as well as test your might against other up-and-coming trainers. Furthermore, you'll rank up your own standing as a trainer by traveling to different towns and besting the head trainer at the local Pokémon gym. You'll eventually get mixed up in some unsavory business with Team Aqua and Team Magma, two nefarious groups of Pokémon trainers, in addition to going on various adventures and side quests that you'll have to take on as you train and collect your Pokémon. The writing isn't quite as clever as Nintendo's own Advance Wars series, but it still pops and generally avoids the kind of condescending tone that makes most kids games unplayable by people outside the designated age bracket.
Pokémon are a pretty weird, inexplicable bunch of creatures. Their origins, even within the game's reality, are purposefully vague, and despite their wildly varied appearances and abilities, all Pokémon have a few basic characteristics in common. Most importantly, all Pokémon love to fight other Pokémon, whether it's in a head-to-head spar or a two-on-two match. As they fight, they gain experience and learn new moves. And occasionally, a Pokémon will evolve into a sleeker, more aggressive version of itself, taking on a new name in the process. The Pokémon series has always been expertly keyed in to the obsessive-compulsive traits of gamers, so most of the game revolves around fighting with and capturing different Pokémon.
To be clear, your character never actually fights; instead, you'll send out your own Pokémon to broker victory for you. You can carry up to six different Pokémon with you, and each can have up to four different moves, which can be offensive or defensive and can range from straightforward melee attacks to projectile attacks to even crazy psychic blasts. Despite the limited number of moves, the different alignment of each Pokémon helps inject some extra strategy into the combat. Every Pokémon is categorized by type, such as fire, electric, poison, psychic, and so on. For every type of Pokémon, there's another type whose attack is extremely effective against it, creating a nice rock-paper-scissors dynamic. This is a good reason to "catch 'em all."
Though you'll end up spending most of your time either fighting or looking for a fight, there are plenty of other activities. You can breed your Pokémon, enter them into what amount to Pokémon beauty pageants, pick and plant berries that can be turned into candies (and fed to your Pokémon for little stat bumps), and gamble in casinos, just for a few examples. There's a ton of optional stuff like this that helps flesh out the whole world.
Pokémon Emerald's biggest strength is its accessibility. The role-playing-game structure has been streamlined to make it easier to pick up and play for casual players, but without losing the depth that will keep the more committed playing for days on end. Unfortunately, Emerald's biggest weakness is that most hardcore Pokémon players already played through this adventure when it was released as Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. However, it does add some new areas, and it tweaks a lot of minor stuff, like Pokémon abilities and certain character appearances. You can also now use the wireless GBA adapter to link up with other players to trade and battle Pokémon, and using a GameCube link cable, you can put your Pokémon into play in Pokémon Colosseum. Ruby and Sapphire were great-looking GBA games when they first came out, though Emerald puts in little effort to improve the quality of the graphics, giving the game a slightly aged look. It's still very bright and colorful, recalling some of the better SNES RPGs, and the world feels appropriately large. However, the combat sequences can't help but feel a bit too staticky. The music has weathered the passing of time much more capably, and the various town themes and fight music are still incredibly catchy and upbeat.
Players who have already soaked up everything Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire have to offer will probably appreciate the largely subtle changes Emerald makes, thanks to the "gotta catch 'em all" mentality bred by the series, though it's unlikely to do a satisfactory job of scratching the itch for an all-new Pokémon adventure. Still, despite being made mostly of recycled parts, Emerald proves that the Pokémon formula still works. As a result, it remains an enjoyably light RPG experience.

Origin: Following a common name trend that Toriyama developed in Dragon Ball, Vegeta's name is derived from the word for vegetable, being that he is the prince of the Saiyans, who are all named after vegetables. When he first appears in the series, Vegeta is arrogant and selfish; having a fierce desire for immortality and galactic rule. Dragon Ball Z " Coolers Revenge / Revenge of Cooler " is the fifth and sixth DBZ movie, originally released in Japan on July 20th 1991, between episodes 99 and 100. It was released in America by FUNimation, and Bridge Entertainment's title is Super Rivals.

In this movie, Frieza's brother Cooler is introduced. It begins with a flashback to when Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, and Cooler's ship picks up Goku's space pod on the radar. Goku's ship is shown to be heading towards Earth, but Cooler's henchmen believe it is an escape. Cooler lets the ship go, believing it to be no threat. Twenty-five years later, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan and defeats Frieza on Planet Namek. Frieza and his father King Cold finally meet their demise a year later at the hands of the time traveling half Saiyan Future Trunks. By the time Goku gets back and resumes life, Cooler discovers that his brother Frieza has been killed by a surviving Saiyan. Showing no compassion towards his brother, Cooler takes his Armored Squadron - Dore, Naise, and Salza - to Earth. He plans to kill Goku in order to reclaim his family's honor. His forces ambush Goku and his friends on a camping trip, and Goku is wounded when he takes a blast from Cooler that was intended for Gohan.
After Krillin sets up camp with Goku, Gohan flies off to obtain Senzu beans from Korin. After obtaining the beans, he is ambushed by the Cooler's henchmen, but is saved by Piccolo. Piccolo defeats Dore and Naise, and takes on Thousa in an equal fight, but then Cooler catches Piccolo off-guard with a Death Beam, which impales him. Cooler then sends Salza after Gohan as he continues to blast Piccolo. Gohan gets to the cave with the Senzu beans, but they are destroyed by Salza. However, he heals Goku with a spare bean Yajirobe gave him earlier. After Krillin and Gohan are defeated by Thousa, Goku appears fully healed. Cooler shows up, holding onto an unconscious Piccolo. He then blasts his body with an unexpected attack as Goku watches in horror. Cooler then begins battle with an enraged Goku.
After Goku proves to be a worthy opponent, Cooler tells of his history with Frieza. He then reveals his final transformation, and pummels Goku around effortlessly, despite Goku using a Kamehameha powered with the Kaio-ken. Cooler then proceeds to destroy the landscape. However, after seeing a bird die from wounds inflicted by damage caused during the struggle, Goku thinks back on his friends and family, how they all would be killed if he let Cooler win. He then picks up the dead bird, letting out a yell so powerful it cracks solid stone. Goku then transforms into his Super Saiyan form, and gives enough of his energy to revive the bird. Cooler then finds himself, like Frieza was, grossly outclassed. After attempting to punch and blast the Super Saiyan with no effect, Cooler summons a trump card when he powers up an enormous ball of energy. Cooler launches the attack with hopes to destroy Goku and the Earth along with him. After a stint of struggling, Goku eventually manages to send it back with his Kamehameha, forcing Cooler backward into the sun. As Cooler curses Goku, he suddenly realizes that Goku is the Saiyan he let escape. His body is then seemingly disintegrated by the sun.
Goku, drained after his battle, is found by Krillin and Gohan. They are looking for Piccolo when Salza reappears, and is about to destroy them. However, before he can attack, he is run through and killed by Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon from a distance. Gohan looks around for Piccolo, and the movie ends with Piccolo gazing skyward.

For three years planet Nemek Lives in peace until a a strange metal planet began to absorb New Namek within itself. It molds the liquid metal exterior of the star around New Planet Namek, absorbing its energy. Dende, who is now the Earth's guardian, senses the plight of his people and calls Goku to ask for help.
Goku, Gohan, Oolong, Krillin, Yajirobe, Master Roshi and Piccolo arrive and encounter an army of robots which Cooler deployed on the planet to enslave the Namekians, whom he plans to use as biological fuel for the Big Gete Star. Goku fights Cooler, while the other Z-Fighters battle Cooler's robots.
At first the Z Warriors have trouble penetrating the robots' armor, but Piccolo instructs them to concentrate their energy to one point, and doing so allows them to destroy a few of the robots. However, there are far to many to handle and all the warriors, except Piccolo, are captured along with a village of Namekians. Piccolo is left behind, and destroys all the robots. He then makes his way to rescue those who were captured. Throughout the battle, Goku is distracted by a familiar face - that of Cooler, who he was sure had perished years ago. Goku battles Cooler, but it is apparent that Goku is no match for Cooler's new metallic form which gives him the ability to regenerate himself. Cooler also reveals his ability to use the Instant Transmission technique, which Goku also uses. Goku continues to struggle even after becoming a Super Saiyan. Cooler reveals that the Big Gete Star constantly monitors his body, and fixes any flaws that may occur, in this case Cooler's arm being torn off.
Vegeta, shows up just in time to help Goku. The two Super Saiyans attack Cooler and they soon are able to kill him. However, the Big Gete Star once again corrects a flaw in Cooler's design. In this case the flaw was having only one body. So, the computer gave Cooler 1,000 bodies. Outnumbered and exhausted, Goku and Vegeta are captured and transported to the Big Gete Star's core to be used as energy. As Cooler is leeching their Saiyan strength via strange wires, Goku and Vegeta regain consciousness and release all their Super Saiyan energy to the wires, overloading the system. They then blast the true Cooler with the last of their energy, causing his ultimate demise as the Big Gete Star explodes in New Namek's orbit. Meanwhile, Piccolo arrives in Cooler's lab, and meets up with a clone of Cooler, which collapses.
Goku and Vegeta fall from the sky near the rest of the Z Fighters, and everyone rejoices. They then realize that Vegeta is nowhere to be found, and Goku looks up at the sky. Vegeta is shown flying in space in his Space Pod with the last remaining chip of the Big Gete Star in his hands. He then crushes it and heads back to Earth.

Dragon ball Z Wrath of the dragon is the 13th and final movie in the Dragon Ball Z series. It was originally released in Japan on July 15, 1995 between episodes 270 and 271.

Plot of the movie

The movie begins with a young boy on a distant planet frantically searching his current area, sword at the ready. Suddenly a loud noise alerts him that the thing he was searching for is behind him. However, it is too late to react as the young boy is smashed under the foot of a giant creature. Off in the distance, a villainous laugh can be heard.
The movie then cuts to Earth as a bank robbery is taking place. The bank robbers are getting away when Great Saiyaman, Gohan’s superhero alter ego, stops the car with his foot and smashes the front end flinging the felons out the car to confront Great Saiyaman II, Videl’s superhero alias. They apprehend the felons and turn them in to the police, all the while being spied on by some strange old man in the shadows. A short while later, they are summoned again from their school to rescue an old man who wants to commit suicide. When Gohan and Videl arrive on the scene, they discover that he is the same man who had been spying on them. After rescuing him, the old man introduces himself as Hoy and tells the two about the legendary warrior Tapion and that he needs their help in releasing him from the music box he is being held in, as the Earth would be endangered if he were not released. Gohan tries to open the box with his massive strength but to no avail. The old man tells them he knows of the Dragon Balls, and advises the couple to use them to open the box. They agree to bring the box to Bulma’s home first to see if there was another way to open the mysterious box, not knowing that Hoi had other plans on his mind.
They arrive at Bulma’s house with Goku, Goten, and Krillin. After analyzing the box, Goku tries his hand at opening the box but he cannot open it either. So it is decided to gather the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron to see if he can open it. After summoning Shenron, Tapion is released and the music box shatters into pieces. Angry at the fact that he was released, Tapion demands that he be resealed in the box, impossible due to the damage done by his emergence. A furious Tapion storms off, determined to stay alone in order to hide the fact he was holding the upper half of the creature called the Hirudegarn in his body. He isolates himself in a dilapidated building. The warrior is visited regularly by Trunks, who has taken a liking to him and brings him food, but Tapion refuses to eat and rebuffs Trunks' attempts to bond with him. Trunks only becomes more determined to crack the loner's icy exterior, as he sees in Tapion what Goten has in Gohan, something he never had (and presumably lost when Gohan started dating Videl): an older brother.
Shortly after Tapion is released, Hirudegarn's lower half starts to wreck West City. Gohan and Videl arrive at the scene to investigate, but shortly after they arrive, they are almost swept away by the monster's tail. They execute their Great Saiyaman poses, however Hirudegarn's legs are not impressed; he throws the two heroes to opposite sides of the street. Gohan, with Videl's support, immediately counter-attacks. After the short battle, Videl thinks Gohan has won, but Gohan says it isn't over yet. Tapion comes to aid Gohan and Videl by playing a magical tune on his ocarina, weakening Hirudegarn's bottom half, causing it to vanish. Leaving the battlefield, Tapion comes to believe that Hoy has already killed Minosha, Tapion’s younger brother.
Later on, while Trunks is again visiting Tapion, Hoy attempts to steal the ocarina from Tapion. Hoi is confronted by Trunks. The devious Hoi tells Trunks that Tapion is the true monster. The young Saiyan doesn't believe him, and instead gives the instrument back to Tapion. Tapion then befriends Trunks, and asks him to dine with him. Tapion is invited by Trunks to stay at Capsule Corporation. While there, Tapion explains the whole story to Bulma.
Tapion starts his story beginning thousands of years ago. On Konack, a planet in the southern galaxy of the universe, a group of black magicians, the Kash-phar, use a spell on a statue to bring the monster it depicted to life. The monster, Hirudegarn, goes on a rampage and kills everyone who tries to get in his way, devastating the planet. Two young heroes, Tapion and his brother Minosha, manage to freeze the monster in his tracks by each playing their divine ocarina, giving a priest the opportunity to cut the monster in half with a divine sword. Since Hirudegarn can't be killed at the time, his upper-half is sealed in Tapion and the other half in Minosha. However, fearing that the monster might reappear someday, the brothers are separated, each sealed in a music box, and shot into opposite ends of the galaxy. The music box holding Tapion lands on Earth. Soon after, Hoy, one of the Kash-phar, becomes determined to resurrect the monster to rule the universe. He releases Hirudegarn's lower half on a distant planet and easily disposes of Minosha, with the monster crushed the young warrior underfoot. Now on Earth Hoi plans to unite the Hirudegarn’s body and release the creature on Earth.
After hearing Tapion’s story, Bulma decides to create a room based on the broken music box design and the music the ocarina produces so that Tapion can finally rest.
Tapion tries sleeping inside the new chamber, but he has a terrible nightmare that causes him to destroy the chamber. At the same time, Hirudegarn's lower half is once again wreaking havoc, as he draws many men and women into his tail to devour their life energy. The next morning Goku, Gohan, Goten, and Videl arrive at Bulma’s house to inspect the destroyed chamber. Tapion appears suddenly, warning everyone the lower half of the creature is on the loose. To stop the creature from uniting its body he asks the group to kill him, in turn killing the creature’s upper half. Then however Hoy and the lower half of the Hirudegarn appear to stop anyone from killing Tapion. When Tapion is about to play the tone from the ocarina, the power of the lower half being so close to Tapion causes the upper half in Tapion’s body to react and release itself. Hoy succeeds in his plans, and with the monster back together, he believes nothing can stop him. A battle begins. Goten transforms into his Super Saiyan form, Goku transforms into his Super Saiyan 2 form, and Gohan powers up his maximum potential to do battle. They launch their counterattack, but are quickly beaten since the monster can easily dodge by teleporting and countering their attacks. Gohan is grabbed and just before he is about to be squeezed into a pulp by Hirudegarn, Vegeta saves him by firing a ki blast at Hirudegarn's arm and proceeds to fight. He transforms into a Super Saiyan 2. After a brief fight Vegeta is thrown into a nearby building but is knocked out after he saves the people in the building from Hirudegarn's flame attack by using all his powers to create a barrier strong enough to withstand the attack. Goku comes in to help but still is unable to beat the monster and is knocked out. Goten and Trunks become Gotenks with the Fusion Dance. Gotenks, now a Super Saiyan 3, seems to be enough to fight the monster and fires his Die Die Missile Barrage attack at the monster. Hirudegarn is believed to be dead or at least neutralized but the attack only causes him to evolve into his second, more powerful form. Now in his new insect-like form, Hirudegarn mows Gotenks down to the ground and splits Gotenks back into Goten and Trunks. Gohan and Videl are then thrown into a building and Goku into some rubble. However, Goku isn't out and keeps on fighting with all his might.
Just then, Tapion plays the ocarina again and manages to seal Hirudegarn inside himself. He then asks Trunks to kill him with his own sword, which will destroy the trapped monster. Trunks hesitates at first, but is about to do as requested when Hirudegarn breaks free. His ocarina is destroyed in the process. Hoy (who's been watching the whole fight) mocks Tapion for being so foolish, but is killed as Hirudegarn steps on and crushes him. Just then Goku reappears in his powerful Super Saiyan 3 form and a battle begins between Goku and the Hirudegarn. Nevertheless, Trunks tries to fight Hirudegarn too with Tapion's sword and manages to cut off the monster's tail, but Goku stops Trunks. Gohan yells at Goku about the weakness of the Hirudegarn which Goku has already seen and uses his Dragon Fist to pierce through Hirudegarn, obliterating the monster.
With the monster gone for good, Tapion uses Bulma's time machine to go back to his own planet, after giving his sword to Trunks.
It seems, unlike other films, this film would actually be part of the continunity of the series because the appearance of Bee (Buu and Mr. Satan's dog) and Goku and Gotenks's transformations into Super Saiyan 3, this film would actually be consistent with the main series and could take place shortly after the Majin Buu saga.

Dragon Ball Z " BATTLE ISLAND BOJACK " (BOJACK UNBOUND MOVIE)

Dragon ball Z (battle island Bojack) is the ninth Dragon Ball Z movie. It was released in Japan on July 10, 1993 between episodes 192 and 193

Plot of the movie: Bojack is the main villain of the movie. As stated above, his goal is to conquer the universe and destroy all those that stand in his way. According to King Kai, he was sealed by all four Kais in a star, but when Goku teleported the devoluted, ready-to-self-explode Cell to King Kai's planet, killing him, the seal broke, allowing Bojack to be free to do his destruction upon the Earth.
Having another World Martial Arts Tournament funded by Mr. X.S. Cash for his son's birthday, Hercule invites everyone on Earth to a competition on Battle Island. Charging through the preliminaries with no trouble, Krillin, Piccolo, Trunks, Gohan and Dosqoi, an ordinary human, advance to the Semifinals. In the first round Gohan wins with ease. The second round between Trunks and Tien began. Tien gave the audience a "good show" by using his Tri-Beam Cannon, and the two took to the air after a quick warm-up. Tien powers up and Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan. At Capsule Corp. Vegeta is seen watching the match on TV. Disgusted, he switches the TV off and lays back. Charging through a Destructo Disk, Trunks slams Tien into the water, giving Trunks the win. The third match between Krillin and Piccolo was brief. Clearly irritated by his opponent, Piccolo forfeits by leaving, giving Krillin the win. During all this Hercule is trying various ways to get off the island so he doesn't face any of the Z-Fighters, but all of them fail. Gohan, Trunks, Krillin and Dosqoi proceed to the finals and head to separate battle zones. Krillin is confronted by a mysterious woman named Zangya, who beats him flat while Dosqoi is killed.
Everyone soon begins to realize what's wrong as Trunks is challenged by Kogu and Gohan confronts Bujin. During this time, Hercule is in the rest room, thinking about how he got himself in this mess, but after looking at his belt he realizes that the people need him and, in an uncharacteristically brave mood he goes out and gets slammed into a pod and sent to the fighting. During his fight against Kogu, Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan, shatters Kogu's sword and shoves his fist right through Kogu's chest, killing him. As he turns to leave, he is struck down in one blow by an unknown foe. Far away Vegeta felt this power and knew something was up. Gohan continues his fight with Bujin until he is lead out to where Krillin and Trunks are held. After inspecting his fallen friends, Bojack introduces himself and tells him his plans to rule the universe as his revenge. Yamcha and Tien turn up to fight but are defeated by Bujin, Bido and Zangya. Seeing his friends fallen, Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan and fights them while Bojack watches on in amusement. Gohan is beaten down and Bojack powers up an attack to finish him off, although it was deflected by Piccolo, who had come to Gohan's aid. Trunks comes back into action and they both challenge Bojack. After a period of fighting Trunks's sword appears; catching it as Vegeta enters the fight and transforms into a Super Saiyan, quickly setting on Bojack. During this, Trunks thinks that Vegeta would only ever fight when it meant him surpassing Goku's strength, and he realises that Vegeta has truly changed. While Vegeta and Bojack fight the rest fought against his last surviving henchman. During his fight against Vegeta, Bojack beats him down and transforms. Trunks and Piccolo are also beaten down. Gohan rushes to Piccolo's aid, but Piccolo tells him that he's the only one who can defeat the galactic tyrant. Bojack challenges Gohan to a fight and beats him to a bloody pulp thanks to the aid of Bido and Zangya's Untrapped Strings, which drains Gohan's energy away, but is freed when Hercule's incoming pod distracts them all. Annoyed at this Bojack powers up an attack and blasts Hercule's pod causing him to fall to the ground. Trying to save him, Gohan is struck down by Bojack's henchmen.
On Snake Way with King Kai, Goku can't watch any more and, using his Instant Transmission, teleports himself to the fight and punches Bojack before he can finish Gohan off. Surprised, Bojack falls to the ground. After a few words of advice, Goku places his son on the ground safely and disappears. Gohan, taking in his father's words gets back and turns to Bojack with fire in his eyes. Gohan once again transforms into Super Saiyan 2 and unleashes a power that makes the earth quake, the sea roar and causes Bojack to back away in fear. Gohan beats Bido and Bujin each in one hit, breaking them both in half with just his fists and feet, and Zangya is killed when Bojack uses her as a shield from Gohan. The angry young Saiyan then slams his fist into Bojack's stomach, with it blowing a hole in his stomach and out through his back. As a last resort, Bojack powers up his Galactic Buster and Gohan prepares a Kamehameha. The energies clash together and in the blinding light Bojack is killed. Gohan, exhausted, falls backwards laughing as Goku praises him from Other World, and King Kai jokes that he broke the rules of going back to Earth while dead. When Coca-Cola plays its second game in three nights, redemption will be the top order of business for the Tigers, who squandered a golden opportunity Wednesday and lost their grip on first place.
Their current position doesn't require the Tigers to press the panic button. But the urgency to win has somewhat become a sacred task for the Tigers, who are aspiring to make the playoffs.
Friday night's game will be a good test of character for the Tigers, who haven't lost back-to-back games in the 2008 Smart PBA Fiesta Conference.
It's interesting to see though how they handle disappointment.
The Tigers rallied from a 30-point deficit Wednesday and were on the brink of completing an amazing comeback but came up short in the closing minutes of a 91-99 loss against the Alaska Aces.
That made them relinquish the co-leadership they shared with the Red Bull Barakos and fell into a tie for second place with the idle Talk N Text Phone Pals.
The Tigers' 4:50 p.m. engagement at the Araneta Coliseum will be a rematch against the Air21 Express – one of only three teams with a winning record against Coke this conference.
Air21 dealt Coke a 102-95 decision in their first meeting last April 13.
Their desire to get even and to redeem themselves from Wednesday's botched job serve as great sources of motivation for the Tigers, whose next scheduled game will be Friday next week against the Barakos.
The other duel between the Purefoods TJ Giants and the Magnolia Beverage Masters at 7:20 p.m. also promises to be an exciting encounter.
Both teams are surprisingly struggling this conference and unless they start playing consistently either or both of them could miss the playoffs.
Magnolia holds a 4-4 record and has lost two of its last three games, including a 92-106 defeat to Coca-Cola last Friday.
With a new import named Reda Rhalimi, Purefoods (3-4) snapped a three-game losing skid with an 88-78 win over Alaska last Saturday in Calape, Bohol that should boost the Giants' confidence. (DBC)

Williams, a do-it-all forward out of the University of Oakland in Detroit, emerged the Smart PBA Philippine Cup Best Player of the Conference, beating for the coveted award Alaska’s Willie Miller, Purefoods’ Kerby Raymundo, Air21’s Arwind Santos and Coca-Cola’s Asi Taulava.Williams was the first Sta. Red Bull head coach Yeng Guiao said they made the necessary adjustments after losing by 19 points in the Game 1.

"We forgot to bring our defense with us in the first game. But tonight we played better defense," said Guiao during the postgame news conference.

The Barakos, who lost Game 1 103-84, did a remarkable effort defensively by shutting down virtually all of Purefoods’ offensive source.

"I don't think there will be too many blowouts like what happened in Game 1. From hereon, I guess it's going to be a defensive series. I don't think you'll see a lot of games in the 100s. Every team will try to stop the other team and not just try to outscore them," offered Guiao.

Game 2 was an all-Red Bull show with the Barakos building a comfortable lead early as their tenacious defense kept Purefoods' top two scorers – Kerby Raymundo and James Yap out of their comfort zone.

"I think we know how to play Purefoods. Our two victories against them were no fluke, its just that we were really tired last Sunday coming off two tough games against Magnolia in the quarters," said Guiao, defending his troops lackluster effort in Game 1.

Game 3 of the SMART-PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series will be played Friday at 7:20 also at the Cuneta Astrodome.

"That game will be very pivotal in this series," said Guiao, who expects the next two games to take its toll on Raymundo and James Yap.

"Those guys will eventually feel the fatigue. Kerby and James are just playing too many minutes and handling the ball too many times. So I guess the longer this series goes the better for us," the Pampanga Vice-Governor explained.

Red Bull held a 66-55 lead going into the fourth quarter but that comfortable margin almost dissipated as the Barakos missed crucial shots and turned the ball over on three consecutive possessions.

The Giants quickly capitalized and completed an 11-0 run with James Yap ending the spurt with a three-point play that pulled the Purefoods within 78-79 with 3:50 remaining.

But Mick Pennisi answered with a three on Red Bull's next possession then Valenzuela, who scored 11 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, scored two quick baskets and assisted Cyrus Baguio for a fastbreak layup as the Barakos brought the lead back up to 88-80 and virtually took away whatever hopes Purefoods for a comeback.

Guiao said the burden to make the adjustments now rests on the shoulders of Purefoods head coach Ryan Gregorio.

Cyrus Baguio, who was nowhere to be found in Game 1, scored 19 points and sparked Red Bulls' offense in the first half. Kiko Adriano added 16, most of them when Purefoods threatened to make a run in the second half.

James Yap led all scorers with 29 points and Raymundo added 18 for the Giants, who outrebounded the Barakos, 51-37.

The Giants, who trailed by as much as 14 points, appeared to gain momentum in the third quarter but Raymundo, who was picking up his rhythm, busted his lips following a contact with Baguio. The injury required five stitches to close and kept the star forward on the bench the entire quarter.

We pretended to be an offensive team in Game One and we suffered the consequence. Fortunately, we’re quick to realize our mistake," said Sta. Lucia coach Boyet Fernandez.

"We made a conscious effort to limit their production. I told them we can’t beat Alaska if we allow them to score 90 points or more," Fernandez added. "Our main objective in Game Three will be the same – try to start strong, sustain it and limit Alaska’s output."

Sta. Lucia held Alaska to 40.6 percent field-goal shooting and brought down the Aces’ output 30 points below their production in a 107-94 victory in the series opener Sunday.

Offensively, Kelly Williams had his usual numbers while guards Ryan Reyes and Denok Miranda held their own against Willie Miller and Mike Cortez this time.

"Changes in our defensive rotation proved to be a major factor. We neutralized them by putting Ryan Reyes on Jeff Cariaso, Bitoy Omolon on Mike Cortez and Kelly Williams on Joachim Thoss," said Fernandez.

"Another key was our backcourt rotation stepping up and holding their own against Alaska’s dreaded guards in Willie Miller, Mike Cortez and Jeffrey Cariaso," Fernandez added.

Fernandez, however, stressed it wasn’t easy avenging their Game One defeat. And he expects an even tougher grind the next game.

"It’s gonna be a battle from hereon," he said.

Williams scored a game-high 24 points while Omolon added 16, including a decisive five-point binge giving the Realtors an 81-75 cushion entering the final-minute mark.

Miller paced the Aces with 16 points but hastened their downfall on two missed three-pointers in the closing seconds.

Williams provided the exclamation point in their victory with a two-handed slam off an alley-oop pass by Miranda at the buzzer.

The two teams figured in a duel of spurts right in the opening period with Sta. Lucia starting the game with a 14-0 blitz and Alaska fighting back with an 18-3 assault.

The Realtors banked on a massive offense in the second period as they took a 39-37 edge at the turn. (NC)

Minus one key player in Carlo Sharma, Red Bull still kept its mastery of Magnolia at the start of their 2007-08 Smart PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinal showdown.

Cyrus Baguio scored a career-high 31 points while Mike Hrabak and Mick Pennisi nailed decisive three-pointers at endgame as the Barakos upended the Beverage Masters, 107-104, Wednesday to move in the threshold of the Final Four.

"We missed Carlo (Sharma) a lot because Magnolia is really big. But we didn’t give up and played with a bigger heart," said Red Bull coach Yeng Guiao.

"We still got their number. We’re now 3-0 against them in this tournament but it won’t matter if we don’t win this series," Guiao added. "Winning Game One gives you 60 percent of winning this series. It’s not yet over but our battlecry the next game is to finish it."

The Barakos take their first crack at closing the series in Game Two Friday in the same venue at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.

Baguio ran a spectacular show, coming through with several highlight moves on the way to improving his previous career-high of 30 points.

The former UST Tiger went 11-of-13 from the field and 8-of-9 from the stripe while also coming through with six assists, five rebounds and one steal in a sterling 35 minutes of awesome action.

But the Barakos needed Hrabak’s and Pennisi’s treys to build a 104-98 cushion entering the final minute of the fiercely fought battle.

Hrabak finished with 21 points – his biggest output in the league in the last four years. Pennisi contributed 11 points and nine rebounds while playing extended minutes sans Sharma who served a one-game suspension for his fight with Jondan Salvador in the Purefoods-Red Bull setto closing out the double-round elims.

Junthy Valenzuela and Leo Najorda also put in double-figure outputs as the Barakos engaged the Beverage Masters in a virtual shootout.

It helped that Red Bull shot 50 percent from the field against Magnolia’s 44.4-percent clip.

Wesley Gonzales was perfect from the field (5-of-5) in the first half but failed to score again.

Danny Seigle and Lordy Tugade carried the bulk of the fight for Magnolia in the second half with the latter hitting back-to-back three-pointers that shoved the team within two at 104-106 with time down to 6.4 seconds.

Baguio gave Red Bull more breathing room with a free throw before Magnolia eventually saw its bid vanish in the air with Chris Calaguio missing a desperation three-pointer at the buzzer.

Seigle fired 25 points to pace the Beverage Masters, who also drew 10 points or more from Tugade, Dorian Pena, Danny Ildefonso, Gonzales and Enrico Villanueva. (NC)

Willie Miller and Mike Cortez certainly know when to strike. And when the right moment came, Alaska's veteran backcourt duo delivered the knockout punch.

In a game that featured tough defense from both sides, the Aces summoned their playoff experience in the second half to subdue the weary Coca-Cola Tigers, 89-82, in Game 1 of their best-of-three quarterfinal series at the Cuneta Astrodome.

"It was a tough game to get rid of. It was a defensive battle out there. It was hard to get open shots and good looks at the baskets for either team. But it kind of went the way we had hoped it would," said Alaska coach Tim Cone, who did a terrific job in shuffling his bench.

The Aces, who were coming off a 12-day rest against the Tigers who were playing their fourth game in eight days, seized control late in the third quarter largely on the splendid playmaking and decisiveness of Cortez, who finished with 11 points, three assists and one steal. He capped his third quarter effort by scoring five big points during a telling 9-1 run as Alaska ended the period with a 69-64 lead and never relinquished it the rest of the way.

But the ninth-seeded Tigers, who were extremely confident following their unexpected domination in the wildcard, didn't give in and the Aces went to Miller for the finishing touches.

The two-time MVP finished with a game high 23 points, including a lay-up and three-pointer in the final 1:34 that broke the spines of the Tigers. The Olongapo City-born Miller also had seven assists and two steals for the Aces, who outscored Coca-Cola, 48-34, in the second half.

Alaska can advance to the best-of-seven semifinals of the 2007-08 Smart PBA-Philippine Cup against No. 2-ranked Sta. Lucia with another victory in Game 2 scheduled at 7:20 p.m. on Friday also at the Cuneta Astrodome.

"We knew we had to battle them early on. And by the fourth quarter they (Tigers) started wearing down. So we just kept pushing and pushing at them hoping the tide would turn to our favor. Eventually it did. Asi (Taulava) started to cramp, Mark (Telan) got tired and they just lost their bounce bit," Cone observed.

Alaska's fourth consecutive win snapped Coca-Cola's improbable run to the playoffs and spoiled another incredible effort by Taulava.

The 6-foot-9 center tallied 22 points and cornered 25 rebounds for his 15^th double-double and second 20-20 game of the conference

But the toil of playing 41 minutes took its toll on Coke's Big Fellow, who experience leg cramps in the final 2:07 with the Tigers down 81-85.

The failure of his teammates to step up and provide him support also played a role in Coca-Cola's downfall.

Telan, the other half of Coke's mean machine, managed just 13 points and showed signs of fatigue in the fourth quarter where he went scoreless, his energy visibly zapped. Ricky Calimag scored 12 but only had four in the second half. No other Tiger manage to score in double digits.

"We might have won Game 1 but this series is certainly no slam dunk for us. Coke is so good and dangerous when their backs are against the wall. So we got to be ready on Friday," said Cone whose team has now won four in a row dating back to the eliminations.

Coke’s winning streak appeared to continue when they posted a 40-31 lead midway in the second quarter.

And although the Aces managed to tie the score twice in the third quarter, the Tigers would come up with big baskets to regain the lead.

But they would eventually run out of gas late in the third as the well-rested Aces kept pushing the ball on every possession and contested every Tigers' shot.

Alaska also got big contributions from Reynel Hugnatan (17 points, 10 rebounds), John Ferriols (11 points, eight rebounds), Jeffrey Cariaso (10 points) and Sonny Thoss (11 rebounds).

Coca-Cola, which ended a three-game winning streak, shot just 32% from the field in the second half and had 14 turnovers compared to a 43% shooting in the first half and only 10 turnovers.

Street ball game here in Pacita. Phase 1d is a simple and small village located near Jolibee. Very simple subdivision you'll find different kinds of people in Phase 1d rich,poor,cute,handsome,beautiful,pretty,ugly, and etc. Me and my friend
Rey "the chosen one" San Juan and Alben " ben ten" Dacanay have a very very not so hard time competing with the guys in 1d.

Sometimes its a big pain in the ass. ^_^

DEFENDING champion Barangay Ginebra defeated league leader Purefoods with a nail-biting 100-98 win in the 2007-08 PBA Smart Philippine Cup Christmas offering before an overflow crowd at the Araneta Coliseum.

Sunday Salvacion buried a three-pointer with 57.4 seconds to go that gave the Kings the lead, 95-93, while Rafi Reavis provided the defensive stops down the stretch to snatch the victory.

The Kings improved their win-loss record to 7-8, while derailing the Giants’ bid for earning at least a playoff berth for one of the two outright semifinal seats. It also avenged a humiliating 103-76 first round setback.

“It’s a good Christmas gift,” Ginebra coach Jong Uichico said, whose team improved to 3-1 on Christmas Day games.

“I hope we can carry it over to next year’s games. Let’s see what happens. We’re close to getting to the wild card. I don’t know if we can get to the quarters, but that’s what we’re hoping for,” he added.

Salvacion had 21 points for Ginebra. Eric Menk also collected 21 while adding 11 rebounds. Reavis also had a double-double with 10 points and 14 boards.

Ginebra made 5-of-6 free throws in the final 19.1 seconds left. Reavis’ two foul shots gave the Kings a 98-93 lead with 14.6 seconds to go, but Purefoods rookie Rob Sanz buried a triple to make it 96-98 with 7.5 seconds to play.

Prior to his free throws, Reavis made a big steal when he tapped the leather from Kerby Raymundo. He also had an offensive rebound of a missed triple by PJ Simon.

Menk sealed it with two more foul shots with 5.9 seconds, 100-96.

The Giants led by as may as 19 points, 30-11, late in the first period following back-to-back triples by Roger Yap and Simon.

But the Kings were able to cut it to 42-38 before settling for a 48-41 count at the half.

Things got a little tense with 4:11 left in the second period with Purefoods ahead, 33-41, when Tubid and rookie Ardy Larong got tangled under the Ginebra basket.

Helterbrand and Larong engaged in a verbal altercation and both were given technical fouls. Also handed a technical each were coaches Ryan Gregorio of Purefoods and Jong Uichico of Ginebra.

The Giants shot 41.5 percent (17-of-41) from the field while the Kings made 36.1 percent (13-of-36) of their shots. Purefoods also outrebounded Ginebra in the first half, 31 to 21. (WG)

the latest news is the return of mark "the spark" Caguioa. Mark Caguioa came out flat in his return from a six-game layoff. Worse, the Kings conked out at endgame as they suffered a fifth loss in seven games – just half-game in front of cellar-dweller Coca-Cola at 1-5.

Hit by a shoulder injury in the recent Fiba-Asia championship in Tokushima, Caguioa returned to action for the Kings in a game marked by several player hard falls, at least two heated confrontations and no less than four technical fouls.

The Express overcame the Kings in the tense and rugged contest, scoring some measure of revenge against the team which swept them in four matches last season.

"This is a big win coming at the expense of Ginebra which we’d never beaten in a while. Na-break na namin ang jinx," said Air21 coach Bo Perasol.

Caguioa was 0-of-3 from the three-point range and 1-of-2 from the two-point zone in the first half taken by the Kings at 48-42.

The Kings enjoyed the six-point lead at halftime with Mike Holper, Sunday Salvacion and Helterbrand delivering for the team early on.

Holper was 3-of-5 from the field and knocked in three charities while Salvacion nailed two triples, a twinner and a foul shot as they made nine points each in the first 24 minutes of play.

The Kings engaged the Express in two deadlocks and five lead changes and surged ahead at the half although worse in shooting with a 37.2 percent clip as against the Air21’s 40.5-percent marksmanship. (NC)

San Beda Red Lions Sweep the Letran Knights For Back to Back Title!

San Beda College is on its way on fulfilling its destiny to become a dynasty, overcoming Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 76-64, for the Red Lions’ second consecutive NCAA seniors basketball diadem on September 26 at the Araneta Coliseum.

With Letran coming within five late in the third quarter, the Lions held off the Knights in the payoff period with Rogemar Menor scoring 12 points. His three-point attempt that bounced off the rim before going in gave San Beda a 13-point lead, 64-51, 6:45 in the game, forcing CSJL seniors basketball coach Louie Alas to call a timeout.

The finals MVP stole one at midcourt for an uncontested layup, which spawned a 7-0 run to put away the game for good with John Paul Escobal putting the icing with two freethrows against Reymar Gutilban's fifth personal foul, 71-55, 4:16.

"It feels great and very rewarding. I have to give it to the players. They have confidence at may puso," sighed a relieved SBC men's basketball mentor Frankie Lim. "Do no doubt yourself. Kung gusto niyong tumira, take good shots."

Alas concurred, "We just lost to a very strong team. You have to give it to them. Napakalakas ng kanilang personnel. Sa aking opinyon, sila ang strongest collegiate team sa Pilipinas."

Menor, who won two finals MVP and a season MVP as a Red Cub, was the main Lion with 25 points on 11/16 shooting along with three rebounds, two steals, and two assists.

"Hell of a player. No one in Letran can stop Menor," Lim described his third year star.

"Sobrang saya. Naulit ulit iyong dynasty namin sa juniors," Menor, who was with the NCAA juniors champion teams from 2003-2005, observed on his fortunes. "Iyong juniors lamang daw ako (skills-wise). Sa seniors, pantay na labanan."

Yousif Aljamal suited up for his final game as an amateur, finishing with 24 points, ten boards, three feeds, two steals, and two blocks on 37 well-played minutes.

"Kay coach inoffer ang championship," Aljamal shared. The 24-year old would again team up with his current mentor, who is also the team manager of the Talk 'N Text Phonepals in the PBA. "Sana madala ko sa PBA ito (confidence)."

"It would always be nice to get back to your alma mater. I want to give back to the school," the rookie guru said. "I am just blessed to have 15 intelligent players."

The red and white shot 52% at the two-point area, while also amassing 50 caroms, 20 dimes, seven cookies, nine rejections, 16 fastbreak points, and 19 turnover points.

"This victory is for everybody," Lim doled out. "For the Bedan community and the supporters."

On the other hand, Bryan Faundo led the Knights with 17 points and ten rebounds, while RJ Jazul netted 14 markers. As a team, the red and blue made 35% of their field goals.

"You have to feel good on the defeat," Alas opined. "I will remember this day. This is the defining moment to come back next year."

Lim, who experienced back-to-back championships as a player and now as a tactician stated, "Both are great. Since this is my first time as a coach, this is sweeter."

Alas looked back, "Iyong game one ang crucial. Sa ganyang kalakas na team, mahirap talunin ng back-to-back."

This is the Lions' 13th seniors cage crown, just behind the 15 of Letran College.

Adjudged as the coach of the year, the fiery Lim gave what might have been the strangest description of how it feels winning a championship after he was asked what his emotions were after getting the victory ride at the buzzer, "Feeling ko parang akong bagong kasal."

Meanwhile, Alas described the mood in the locker, "Malungkot sila for Mikko (Quinday)."

Quinday used up his eligibility this year.

Do-it-all Mapua Institute of Technology point guard Kelvin dela Peña was awarded the MVP of the season. He was joined by Aljamal, Faundo, Dino Daa, and Marvin Hayes of Jose Rizal University in the mythical team.

Other awardees include Hayes as most improved player, Dave Marcelo as rookie of the year, and Jason Ballesteros of San Sebastian College Recoletos as defensive player of the year.

Rey Dangcal's split at the trip 3:56 of the first quarter was the last time CSJL enjoyed the upper hand before SBC released a 15-0 finishing kick with Riego Gamalinda scoring the last six points, 26-12.

"We started strong," Lim remarked as the key point of the contest. "We tried to match the intensity of Letran."

Faundo's charities off a Menor personal made it 24-34, 4:16 in the second. Menor was responsible for five points in a 7-0 mini-run to give the Mendiola-based squad its highest lead of 17.

After Escobal launched a three to make it 52-35 midway of the third period, Letran had a quiet 12-0 blast with Jazul starting the rally and the Muralla-based gallery momentarily waking up when John Melegrito scored four quick points, 1:38 in the clock. The Lions doused the fire in the succeeding possession when Escobal sighted Aljamal at the apex of the arc for a triple with just one second remaining in the shot clock.
